Camellia Quest

The Camellia Quest is an interactive exhibition of artwork created by students from local schools working with our ArtWorks artists.

 

Participants on the trail follow the Camellia Quest map around Wentworth Woodhouse gardens and complete challenges along the way to fulfil the quest. Along the trail they find lots of inspiring artwork, learn fun facts about the history of the Camellia House and the exciting plans for its reopening. To participate in the trail, simply pick up a map from reception at Wentworth Woodhouse and get started!

 

The artwork on the trail has been made during workshops which took place on site at the Wentworth Woodhouse during May and June this year. Workshops were led by artists and staff from ArtWorks SY for students from local schools. During the workshops, students sought inspiration from the Camellia House and the Camellia flowers to create artwork using the techniques of response drawing, cyanotype printing and painting.
